"I started riding when I was fifteen and have pretty much owned a bike ever since. My first bikes were Triumphs, BSA's and Norton's. Having picked up the riding bug I rode these for many years in the Kitchener area while riding all over Canada, USA and Central and South America. Ask me some stories some time. I then wanted more of a cruiser and switched to Honda Gold Wings for many years but missed the feel of cruisers. In 1987 I bought my first Harley-Davidson®, a sweet 1984 Softail® Custom and rode the wheels off of it. My wife found the back seat too small so I bought a brand new 1993 FLHS Electra Glide Sport which now has 181,000 km and gets ridden every day to a tune of around 10,000 each year. My wife rides her own bike and we have been to the 90th and 100th Anniversary rides to Milwaukee. Too many road trips and rallies to remember (I have the T-shirts to prove it). The best part is the really great people you meet on the road whether it is in the Grand Canyon, riding the Okanogan in BC , The Tail of the Dragon or the Cabot Trail you will always find a friend. Riding a Harley-Davidson® and being a Life Time Member of H.O.G.® is a great way to spend your spare time.Remember, bikes are everywhere. Ride safe." Jennifer Rimmer – Sales Specialist
"Since I was a little girl I was amazed with motorcycles of all kinds. I grew up working with my dad on all makes and models of motorcycles and still to this day remember being 5 years old seeing my Dad ride his Harley® and loving everything about it; the sound, the look, and the smile on his face. I have been licensed since 2006 but riding off road bikes for long before that. I love the complete independence and freedom of riding. You could be riding in a group of twenty and still feel free, independent and empowered!" For 2013, Jen is extremely excited about getting amazing riding footage with her new helmet cam. Harris Huska – Sales Specialist
Harris is one of our newer family members, joining our Sales Department in January 2013 as a part time Sales Specialist. "My motorcycle riding experience starts at age 12 when I moved to the Barrie area. Many of my friends had minibikes and living in the country, there was an endless system of trails that always seemed to lead to the old Cyclesport dealership in Painswick. My brother had bought an RD400 and he would let me ride it around town and to school when he wasn’t using it. These were my early riding years and they had a lasting effect on me. In 2008, I took the Georgian College Motorcycle course and after a spring and summer of looking at every make and model in Southern Ontario, I found the perfect fit, the Harley-Davidson® V-Rod®. I now enjoy riding with my buds at charity rallies, blasting up to Wasaga Beach, or any town in Muskoka to explore some of the great riding here in Simcoe County and beyond. It is my riding experience that there is an instant kinship where ever you go and see other bikers. Just good people out having fun and enjoying the freedom to “just ride”.
