Each year our Service Technicians keep up-to-date with the latest changes in technology and the Harley-Davidson® product line up through the Harley-Davidson® PHD Technical Training Program. This program consists of published materials plus hands-on training at one of Harley-Davidson® tech training labs.

Miles Westall – Service Manager
Miles has been working at Barrie Harley-Davidson® since 2008 and has been riding motorcycles for 9 years. With over 13 years of dealership experience in both automotive and motorcycle shops, Miles brings a strong understanding of the importance of providing a premium customer service experience to everyone that walks in the door. Miles is an avid rider with a passion for the motorcycle industry. He has travelled all over the world – most of it on 2 wheels. Bruce Clark – Service Writer
Bruce has been with Barrie Harley-Davidson® since March 2011 and has been riding motorcycles for over 37 years. As a teenager, he tinkered with his own motorcycle and began doing repairs more seriously into his 20's. Since then, Bruce has spent over 9 years in a powder coating shop doing customizing of all makes and models of motorcycles. What does Bruce love the most about riding: "Escape from the daily grind and the chaos of everyday life. I love to take off with no destination and just ride. Getting lost is my goal." Ryan Cameron – Service Writer
Ryan has been in the Harley-Davidson® world since 2007 and with Barrie Harley-Davidson® since 2010. Ryan has spent the majority of his time on dirt bikes and upgraded to street bikes in 2010. Nick Berriault – Service Specialist
Nick has been working as a Service Specialist since 2006 and has been riding on and off road bikes for over 11 years. Nick's training is in machining tolerances and machining mechanics which he uses on a daily basis when working one-on-one with the Service Technicians. "Everything I have learned about motorcycles I have either taught myself, learned the hard way or was told by Bruce Insley and Dave Germaine." Steve Redford "Red" – Licensed Technician
Red has been riding bikes for over 21 years and has been with Barrie Harley-Davidson® since 2005. Not only is Red one of our Licensed Technician's, he has also completed his Level 4 Harley-Davidson® Technician Training and is recognized by Harley-Davidson® University as a Master of Chassis and Master of Electrical. In his spare time, Red completes custom engine cutaways and manages the "Deckers", a ....baseball team.
Jason Crosgrey – Licensed Technician
Jason has been riding on and off road for over 17 years and joined Barrie Harley-Davidson® in 2011. Jason has completed his Level 1 Harley-Davidson® Technician Training and has completed all of his PHD Harley-Davidson® training courses. Jason is also has his Level 2 truck and heavy equipment license and is highly trained in electrical and motor work. What does Jason love about riding? "Using every ounce of my **cough** stock **cough** Dyna®." When he is not working or riding he plays in a band called RocketBusters who hale from Wasaga Beach. You can find Jason and RocketBusters playing at numerous local venues throughout the area this summer.

Chris Mcgee – Licensed Technician
Chris has been with Barrie Harley-Davidson® since 2007 and has been riding on and off road for over 14 years. Chris started as a Service Assistant and is a master at detailing and buffing – a guru of paint restoration. From Service Assistant to Licensed Technician, Chris is viewed as the next Dave Germaine. Chris has completed his Level 1 Harley-Davidson® Technician Training and has completed all of his PHD Harley-Davidson® training courses. "What I love most about riding – just being out on the open road and not thinking about anything."

Owen Stones – Licensed Technician
Owen has been riding both on and off road for over 13 years. Owen has been with Barrie Harley-Davidson® since 2006 and has completed his Level 2 Harley-Davidson® Technician Training and has completed all his PHD Harley-Davidson® training courses. Most weekends you can find Owen on a local motocross track or rebuilding his own race motors. "I go home and work on bikes for fun and then come to work and get paid to do it. What more could you ask for?" What Owen loves most about riding – "Big dirt bike gaps, hang time, air time!"

Harley (Yes, that's his real name) Hawman – Licensed Technician
Harley has been with Barrie Harley-Davidson® since 2009 but has been riding for over 20 years, both on and off road. With a first name like that, not only could he not ride anything but a Harley, he really couldn't work anywhere else. Harley has completed his Level 2 Harley-Davidson ® Technician Training and has completed all of his PHD Harley-Davidson® training courses. "I love the lifestyle surrounding riding the most." When asked, what do Harley's peers say about him? "AWESOME!"

Chris Asimakis – Licensed Technician
Chris Asimakis has been with the Barrie Harley-Davidson® family since 2012 and has officially joined as a full-time technician. Chris comes with years of experience including riding for over 34 years both on the road and on dirt and he has an Electronics Engineering Degree and has 27 years as an Electrical Engineer. He has successfully completed all of his PHD Harley-Davidson® training courses and completed his Yamaha and Honda licensed mechanic training. Chris is also a Seasonal Professor at Centennial College teaching Apprenticeship Level 1 & 2 and Motorcycle and Powersports courses to the next generation of licensed technicians. What Chris loves most about the open road – "Clearing your head and NO RADIOS!”

James Harnois – Motorcycle Apprentice
James has been with Barrie Harley-Davidson® since 2011 as a Service Assistant. James has been riding since 2009 and has completed the Motorcycle Powersports Repair Training course at Centennial College. James loves everything about riding and when he is not working with bikes you can find him practicing and playing in a band called As Wolves

Chris Snyder – Service Assistant (Seasonal)
Chris Snyder has just recently returned to the Barrie Harley-Davidson® family and has been riding for over 24 years. Chris is another guru of detailing and has repaired and torn apart his own Harley-Davidson® many times. When you ask Chris what he loves most about riding – "Being able to look up at the blue sky.”

Clint – Service Assistant (Seasonal)
Clint is another new member to the Barrie Harley-Davidson® family.
