Summer 2007 Charity Barbeques Over the past summer during our 2007 model Demo Day, 2008 model Demo Day and our first Annual Show 'n' Shine, barbeques were held with all the profits going to either the David Busby Street Centre (a local homeless shelter) or the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Canada Barrie Unit. We were able to raise approximately $1,600 for MDS and $775.00 for the David Busby Street Centre. Come out this year during our demo rides (2008 models - Sunday May 25th, 2009 models - Sunday, July 27th) and purchase something tasty from the barbeque to help those in need.

Rock 95 Toy Drive (November - December 2007) Throughout the months of November and December customers and staff were able to drop unwrapped toys off in our collection box located at the front of the store. Customers were also able to make a silent bid for our large Harley-Davidson stuffed bear, Gilbert. Special thanks go out to Diane and Jim Shanahan who were the lucky winners of Gilbert and who donated a whopping $250 to the toy drive! On November 24, 2007 during our annual Christmas Open House customers could have their purchased gifts wrapped for a small donation of $2. Extra donations were also accepted. Overall, the store was able to raise $420 and a box full of toys for those less fortunate. General Manager, Kate, presents our cash donation to Rock 95 Parts and Accessories Manager Kathryn, Gilbert The Bear and Jim Shanahan. Thanks Jim!

Tecumseth North Central Public School (December 2007) On December 13, 2007, a group of grade 6 students from Tecumseth North Central Public School paid a visit to the store to learn about motorcycles, the safety gear involved with riding and how working hard in school will help them land a job within the industry. Staff members took time out of their daily schedules to present their motorcycle knowledge and answer any questions that the students may have had. All students left with smiles on their faces, thanked the staff and agreed that it was the best school trip they had ever experienced.
